Downtown music series are back!
With spring came the restart of Downtown Alive and Main Street Fridays in Downtown Greenville. And Reedy River Concerts starts next week! Here are the details. Make sure you check out some of the bands scheduled for all of these weekly music series.
Downtown Alive and Main Street Fridays kicked off on March 16 and 17, respectively. Downtown Alive will run through the summer until August 31, and Main Street Fridays through September 29.
Both of these weekly music series are held in NOMA Square at 220 N Main Street. Downtown Alive runs from 5:30 until 8:30pm every Thursday, and Main Street Fridays are from 5:30 until 9:30 every Friday.
More than 45,000 people attend Downtown Alive annually, which is the single largest fundraiser for the Metropolitan Arts Council. Bands play two sets at 5:50 p.m. and 7:20 p.m. For Main Street Fridays, the band sets are at 5:50 p.m and 7:40 p.m. There are also inflatable games for the kids on Fridays.
And starting next week, June 7, through August 30, you can catch a free concert every Wednesday on the TD Stage at Peace Center Amphitheatre with Reedy River Concerts! The address is 300 S Main Street. Concerts are from 7 until 9pm every Wednesday. Food trucks and vendors will be on-site, but feel free to bring a lawn chair or blanket and a picnic dinner.
Admission to all these events is free!
In the mean time, check out the calendars for all three music series below. I hope to see you there!
